my boyfriend has ALOT of family issues that keep him distant from everyone including myself. he’s told me of some issues he has with his father that he’s said that over the years it’s made him cold and unable to show emotion. i’m not talking the (sometimes) usual tough man stuff. this is serious, serious stuff here. he told me that he wants me to help him love like i am able to love. he said he’s never met anyone that loves him like i do and that he doesn’t feel worthy of my love. he says he’s not worth loving. i’ve tried and tried to make him feel worthy of love, but this is bigger than anything i can do. i told him yesterday that he needs help, and he agreed to seek counseling. i just don’t know where to start. i will pay but neither one of us can afford $125 a week therapy sessions. does anyone know of anything in austin, texas that isn’t so expensive? he doesn’t have insurance, but he definately needs help. please help me!!!!!
